UPHOLSTERY KITS
Most Porsche 356 models came with vinyl or cloth
upholstery but leather was an option. Due to the increasing value of older models combined with the
rich look, feel & smell of genuine leather, many restorers prefer to
upgrade their 356 to leather. Porsche seldom perforated leather seats inserts,
while vinyl seats almost always had embossings in the vinyl inserts . We
offer a variety of leathers which are appropriate for 356 models-- being
a close match-up to original colors. You may choose plain or perforated
leather inserts while vinyl inserts are available plain or embossed in black
only.
UPHOLSTERY KITS include
pre-sewn covers for both front seats. Original upholstery must be removed.

pads were originally rubberized horsehair. We have faithfully copied the
original size, shape and feel using modern molded foam with cast in
burlap. Sold individually. |

CARPET SETS
All models of 356 Porsche originally had
matching squareweave
carpet with rubber mats on the floors and front tunnel. Our carpet sets
are supplied as original.
(Note) If you wish
to carpet the entire car, you must purchase the supplement, which replaces
the rubber mats as well as the carpet set.
Carpeting is offered in the
German squareweave or domestic
loop material. Domestic colors are similar though not a perfect match to
the original Porsche colors. Binding is as original, cloth on coupes and
vinyl on open cars. All pieces which were originally supplied in carpet
are included.
Please indicate interior color
when ordering as matching flaps are attached to some pieces.

MATS
For the nostalgia buff, we can now
supply 1950s style two-tone coco mats. The newly designed mats now have
a non slip rubber backing which traps dirt and moisture. They may be hosed
off for easy clean up.
