UPHOLSTERY KITS
Upholstery is sewn in the original style and is supplied in leather only.
Most factory colors are available. Individual components are not available.
Vechicle ID# may be required.
You can do it yourself. No special tools are required. However these early cars may need pad rebuilding or other repairs which should be performed by a professional.
Kits include upholstery for both front seats including the back panel covers. Center Armrests and consoles should be ordered separately.
4 styles of seat and 3 styles of insert were offered. Early cars until about 1958 had blind stitched pleats in the insert. Leather was plain. Interim cars had the insert pleats separated by a double stitch with a row of small holes between. Leather was plain. Late cars had the same style insert as the interim car but the leather was embossed with a basketweave pattern. In all cases the rear seats matched the fronts except for the folding rear seat in the coupe and convertible which was always plain leather.

Originally supplied in a wool cut pile carpet, all coupe and convertible models originally came with black or white rubber floors.
If you require carpet in the areas originally covered by the rubber mats you must order the supplement..

HEADLINERS, TOP, BOOT COVER and RELATED ITEMS
Both models used wool headliners originally. The convertible used stretchwool. German canvas was the original topping.
All these parts are stitched as original. Because of the complexity of the top frame & necessity of a top pad, installation should be left to the professional installer.

For the nostalgia buff, we can now supply 1950s style two-tone coco mats. The newly designed mats now have a non slip rubber backing which traps dirt and moisture. They may be hosed off for easy clean up.
