SEAT UPHOLSTERY KITS
300SL Models had their seats
trimmed in cloth or leather. We are able to supply some original cloth materials.
All our SL upholstery kits are made in European
leather. Roser, the original leather manufacturer is no longer in
business. We have duplicated some of the Roser colors with the correct smooth
grain.. Seat kits are manufactured in California and are sewn in
the original style with a raised embossed insert with a double stitch
between the pleats or a raised double stitch line depending on the model.
Because the original pads are no longer available, we
recommend professional installation and rebuilding of the
horsehair pads to regain the feel of the original seat.

CARPET SETS and RUBBER MATS
All 300 SL's originally came
carpeted in squareweave. The front floors however were originally
rubber. Our carpet sets authentically retrim all the areas originally carpeted
including the seat backs. Each set is bound in matching cloth. Original
rubber mats, which are available, may be replaced with supplements.

For the nostalgia buff, we can now supply 1950s style two tone coco mats. The newly designed mats now have a non slip rubber backing which traps dirt and moisture. They may be hosed off for easy clean up.
